Degree-seeking undergraduates who are registered and counted in the campus census (taken at the end of the 5th week of instruction), and who are at least 18 years old as of the survey launch date (typically April 2nd) are invited to participate. A very small number of minors and visiting students from non-UC campuses are excluded from the eligible population. (The excluded group constitutes less than one percent of the total undergraduate population.)
