Sources & Methodology:
- Data comes from UC Berkeley's data warehouse reporting system, Cal Answers.
- We source home location from the UC undergraduate application for admission. It represents the county or state of each student's home address at time of application. Not all of the registered undergraduates in a given term have a home location on record.
- Percentages are not based on the total undergraduate population, but are instead based on the total number of undergraduates who were counted as either California residents or out-of-state domestic students, and had a valid home location on file from the time of application.
