The Office of Planning and Analysis is responsible for collecting CSIR data, ensuring its quality, and reporting to departments, the UCB campus, and UCs Office of the President.

[Instructor] Function code is used by the e-Grades process to determine who can submit grades. These function codes are monitored very closely and must adhere to Academic Senate regulations.
Space utilization data collected through CSIR is annually reported to the Office of the President and impacts resource requests and allocations by OP and the campus related to space. Also, see Facilities and Spatial Data for CSIR training document.
This group regularly reviews and assesses contributing data streams and final results of CSIR reporting at the same time it takes into consideration policy and operational concerns.
