Methodology:  Conversion factors are calculated by dividing average units by 15 for undergraduates, and by 12 for G1 level students.  Average units are an average of the units taken per student (from the student census file, i.e., SISEX) from the Fall 2000 and Spring 2001 terms, based on headcount (students with multiple majors are not prorated).  Averages for G1, G2 and all subtotals are weighted averages.  The G2 conversion factor is calculated as:  G2 headcount divided by G2 + G2A headcounts.  All conversion factors have been capped at 1.000.
Notes:  LD = lower division undergraduates, UD = upper division undergraduates, G1 = Masters and First Doctoral students, G2 = Doctoral students advanced to candidacy.  *Other Degree Programs = Chemistry, Electrical Engr & Computer Sci, Legal Studies and Social Welfare.
