Cal Profiles is a web-accessible database containing multiple years of UC Berkeley institutional data. OPA released the first version of the Cal Profiles website and database in 1998, and we have continually updated it since then. As we receive new data throughout the year from various sources, we add it into the database as soon as possible. Each summer, however, we do a somewhat more complex "official" release of the Profiles, during which we reorganize the data to match the most recent campus organization tree. This ensures that trend analyses will always be consistent. Please note that the Cal Profiles website is accessible only to UC Berkeley users with a current CalNet ID. |
